Challa Topping Variations

September 20, 2018 By Shaindel Siev Leave a Comment

Traditionally in  the month of Tishrei we eat lots of sweet foods – at the start of our meal when we eat the Challa Bread, instead of dipping into the traditional salt, we dip in honey.  We bake and eat honey cake, among other honey rich foods.  There are a couple of sweet Challa Topping variations I like to do in the month of Tishrei when I bake my challa bread. We have so many meals that having any change to the usual is nice!
